Carol Taylor, PA-C

Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Carol Taylor is a board-certified Physician Assistant at Galen OB/GYN. She originally grew up in the Ocoee region of Tennessee and graduated with honors from Cleveland High School. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She also earned her second bachelor’s in Physician Assistant Studies and a Certificate of Surgical Physician Assistant from the University of Alabama at Birmingham Surgical Physician Assistant program. Carol has participated in multiple clinical trials associated with endometriosis, menopause, and hypoactive sexual desire disorder as a sub-investigator.

Carol’s compassion for people, her love of science, and her strong desire to solve a mystery fueled her pursuit of medicine. She developed a love of labor and delivery during her OB/GYN rotation in PA school. She began her medical career in urology and gynecologic oncology, which provided a solid foundation in pelvic medicine. Carol chose OBGYN because she enjoys caring for women in all stages of life.

Carol’s ideal day off from work would begin with sipping on a strong cup of coffee, listening to the birds from the back porch, and shopping at the local garden center for flowers. Her hobbies include gardening, reading historical fiction, and hiking with her family. She especially loves going exploring in nature with my sons and granddaughters. Carol also enjoys being active in her church and leads a middle school girl Bible study
