Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Sheena Gamble, D.O., is a specialist in OB/GYN. She is originally from Ooltewah, TN, and attended Ooltewah High School. Dr. Gamble has not lived in Chattanooga since 2008 and is thrilled to be joining Galen and making her way back home. She attended the University of Chattanooga and obtained her Bachelors of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She attended the College of Osteopathic Medicine-Virginia Campus in Blacksburg, VA. Dr. Gamble completed her residency at USC School of Medicine-Greenville Campus. She has been at a private practice since 2016 in Greenville and is excited to be back home.
Dr. Gamble chose to pursue medicine because it combined her desire to help people with her love of science and her appreciation of the human body. She gets great satisfaction from helping her patients make their lives better. She specifically chose OB/GYN because she loves caring for women and enjoys being a confidant, educator, and someone who empowers women during the multiple phases of life they experience. As an obstetrician, she has the honor of being present for some of the best days of her patients‘ lives, but she also feels called to show love and provide support on their worst days as well. The major components of her care philosophy are to treat and care for every patient how she would want someone to treat and care for her mother, her sisters, and herself and to show Christ’s love through the care she provides.
Dr. Gamble married her high school sweetheart, also a graduate of Ooltewah High School, and they have two boys and one girl. Chattanooga is extra special to her because her family lives here. She loves being outdoors with the fresh air and sunshine and grew up riding bikes, going on walks, playing in the lakes, and hiking. She is thrilled that her kids will now grow up with family and be able to enjoy all this great city has to offer as well. For her, Chattanooga is home, and there is no place like home!
