Jessica Miller DNP-FNP-C is a Chattanooga native and fond of her hometown. She attended Baylor School, where she participated in dance and cheerleading. During her time at Baylor, she developed an interest in science and decided to pursue a career in nursing. She graduated cum laude from Lee University with a bachelor of science in nursing. She began her nursing career at CHI Memorial as a cardiothoracic step-down unit nurse. However, she spent the majority of her nursing career as a postpartum nurse at Erlanger Health System.
She furthered her education at Lee University by obtaining a Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner degree. At Lee, she focused her research on the “Effects of Clinical Support Training on Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy in a Nurse Residency Program.” Jessica is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society and CANAP.
Jessica’s care philosophy centers around providing evidence-based and Christ-centered care to each person she encounters. She strives to establish meaningful relationships with all of her patients while empowering them to be the healthiest version of themselves. She hopes to create a supportive and trusting environment through active listening and patient collaboration.
Outside of work, Jessica is an avid traveler, finding joy in exploring new cultures and landscapes. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, spending time with family and friends, and watching a good movie. Additionally, Jessica is an enthusiastic Tennessee Volunteers fan. On Saturdays in the fall, you can find her cheering the Vols to victory.
