Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Amy Hadfield FNP-BC grew up here in Chattanooga and attended Boyd-Buchanan. She has a great deal of empathy for others, so she knew from a young age she wanted to work in a field where she never had to question if her work mattered. She specifically pursued nursing since she grew up babysitting for a nurse and appreciated the flexibility she had at her job—being able to work at night or the weekends and still be present and engaged as a mother. To her, women are beautiful, complex people—that’s why she chose to work in women’s health. She loves making connections and being a sounding board for various questions and concerns that arise over a female’s lifetime.
Amy worked for 10 years as a delivery nurse and then 6 years in pre-op so she has a lot of experience with childbirth and gynecology surgeries. As a nurse, Amy has the chance to help people when they are the most sacred, uncertain, and vulnerable. She is so happy to work with her supervising physician, Dr. Radpour, for whom she as the utmost respect.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time off with her husband, 2 children, and extended family. They love to hike, ride bikes, and take advantage of Chattanooga’s amazing outdoor scene. She is a huge fan of the diversity of Chattanooga—the people, the music, the mountains, the restaurants, and the downtown area!

It’s important to me to find common ground right off the bat. I like to know ALL about a patient’s background before I even get started. Where they work, where their husband works, what part of town they live in, what makes them “tick”. If they don’t believe that I’m interested in them- I can’t imagine they’d trust my advice. I love to help people feel comfortable in an otherwise uncomfortable setting so they can look forward to coming back!
