Dr. R. Gregory Walters is a board-certified foot and ankle specialist with over 20 years of experience in podiatric medicine and surgery. He has a special interest in treating foot and ankle trauma as well as complications related to diabetes.
Dr. Walters began his education at the University of Illinois and earned his medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. He completed his surgical training at St. Mary’s Hospital and Broad West Surgical Center in Merrillville, Indiana.
In addition to caring for patients in his practice, Dr. Walters has provided medical care on two volunteer missions to El Salvador. He is also an active supporter and fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the American Diabetes Association.
Before becoming a physician, Dr. Walters proudly served as a New York City police officer. Today, he enjoys cycling, golfing, and spending time outdoors with his family.
Dr. Walters is dedicated to helping his patients stay active, healthy, and pain-free.
