Jasmine Mason, FNP-C

Specialist in Family Medicine

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Ever since she was a little girl, Jasmine knew she wanted a career in medicine. When she began her education, she decided to pursue a position in pharmacy, but in the end decided to study nursing. She’s so glad she made the switch.

Jasmine obtained her associates degree in nursing from Chattanooga State in 2009. She then went on to get a bachelor’s followed up with a masters in nursing. In 2009, she worked as a nurse at Erlanger Hospital, and after finishing her masters, she started working with the Heart and Lung Institute as a cardiothoracic surgery NP.

Ultimately, Jasmine chose the path toward family nurse practitioner so she could work within a wide variety of situations caring for patients while continually finding opportunities to learn new things. She is most at home when caring for others, and particularly enjoys treating children.

In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys time with her friends and family, swimming and relaxing by the pool, and watching football and hockey– Go, Vols and Preds! She also has a sweet, 13-year-old yorkie pup named Isabella.
