Glasses and Contact Lens

Glasses and contact lenses correct common refractive errors such as:

  • Nearsightedness or Myopia: People who are nearsighted need glasses to see in the distance for tasks such as driving or watching television.
  • Farsightedness or Hyperopia: People who are farsighted see better in the distance than they do at near and need glasses for tasks such as reading.
  • Astigmatism is a common form of visual impairment in which part of an image is blurred, due to an irregularity in the curvature of the front surface of the eye, the cornea.
  • Presbyopia occurs as people enter their forties and refers to the progressively diminished ability of the eye to focus on near objects.

Regular eye exams test for the development and progression of refractive errors and help Dr. Mabry provide a proper prescription if eyeglasses or contact lenses are needed. Exams are also an invaluable tool in the early detection of eye disease.

We provide comprehensive eye exams to ensure that each patient receives the most accurate vision correction from their glasses or contacts. Our optical shop with our licensed optician Sherry Hixon can assist you with all your vision needs.
